Do not use mercari to sell/buy your items! This was the worst trade/selling/buying app I've ever used. Not only did I get scammed multiple times (yes, I was dumb enough to keep trying), but the customer service is terrible, rude, and so unhelpful. I 'sold' items and when I sent them they 'got lost in the mail' and I lost my money and the item:(. When I purchased an item, they were so damaged and not as described in the listing. I am so sick and tired of Mercari it's a disgrace!! They are rude, obnoxious, and discriminating!! I have been a customer on there for a little over a year now! I'm a good buyer/seller with great reviews! Now all Mercari is wanting to do is deactivate a lot of my stuff that is not even against the terms! They are so very rude and strict, there needs to be resolving to this issue. Every time I post of coupons, baby food, dietary supplements.. Mercari stole 529$ from me!! They suspended my acct & told me they would reinstate me as soon as I provided them with my SS# & pic of my DL. I did as they asked & they still will not release my funds!! I had been reporting counterfiet cosmetics(which they dont take seriously) because they never removed any & the site is 90% counterfiet. They then accused me of selling counterfiet cosmetics despite the fact that I always provided proof of purchase & clear photos of serial #s on all my listings & told me I was under investigation!! Ridiculous
Mercari App Consumer Complaint
This app is pretty ridiculous. Most people go on this app to find clothing at discounted prices, not to be charged almost $100 over regular market price. And when you call the sellers out on them basically ripping people off, they either delete the comment and completely blow you off, or they claim that they're overcharging because it's a sold out item on the original website. I don't care if it's sold out, I'm not going to pay a ridiculous amount of money for an item that I went on a DISCOUNT app to find at a lower price. More...
